Pager Test Message
Reminder for all those members with pagers. The first of every month a test message is sent out to ensure your pager is operational, if you do not receive this message you should contact Matt.
Personal Details
Contact Russell if there are any changes to your contact details so the callout list is updated. Change of email address also needs to be passed on to Jake for the newsletter.
Monthly Training Thursday 27th October
Starting 5:30pm. The venue is yet to be decided but it will be on the east side of town. If you would like anything specific covered at one of the trainings please let Matt know.
Overnight exercise
All the monthly trainings are going to be put into practice on an overnight exercise the weekend after Labour weekend. Starting at midday Saturday the 29th October to midday Sunday the 30th at Kaniwhaniwha, Mt Pirongia. There will be a BBQ on Saturday evening. Please advise Matt of your attendance.
Radio Voice Procedures Manualnew
This manual has been put out by LandSAR NZ. It has been developed with input from experienced LandSAR members and with input from AREC. An electronic copy of the LandSAR Radio Voice Procedures Manual is available on the website at the LandSAR webiste resources section
LandSAR plan to have a limited quantity made available in hard copy, however this is subject to funding. To accompany this document, the “frequently used messages” have been developed into an aide-memoire that will be included with the notebook covers and aide-memoire package that will be distributed to Groups before the end of the year. if you have any questions about the attached manual, please drop Ross Browne (National Training Coordinator) a line.

Bush to Beach Half Marathonnew
Organised by Kuaotunu SAR, Coromandel Peninsula, as a fundraiser for their group.
